34PD18 — Day of Mourning for James Doohan PD

I, Márcüs Cantaloûr, Seneschál del Regipäts Talossán, with the full weight and authority of my august position do hereby and forthwith declare the following Prime Dictate:

WHEREAS, with the passing of James Doohan, the world has lost one of its more talented sons, and

WHEREAS, "Star Trek" fans in Talossa and abroad are united in grief over his death, while at the same time able to celebrate his achievements, and

WHEREAS, James Doohan overcame personal adversity meeting with eventual success, thus serving as a model to all,

THEREFORE, a Day of Mourning shall be observed on Monday July 25, 2005 for James Doohan. May he be beamed up to his heavenly reward!
