"Miehen Huone on Hänen Valtakuntansa" is the national motto of Talossa.

Originally "Miehen Huone on Hänen Valtakunta" was coined by King Robert I in 1979 it is a "slightly botched Finnish"[1] translation of “A Man’s Room is his Kingdom”. This has been changed to the current motto in the The Finish the Finnish Act (Amendment). The motto refers to the fact than in its original incarnation, the realm of Talossa was limited to the confines of the King's own bedroom.
