A '''by-election to fill the post of Senator from Fiôvă''' was held from August 18 {{year|2014}} to September {{year|2012}}; it was administered by [[{{fio}}]] Secretary of State, [[Éovart Andrinescu]].
The incumbent senator [[C. Carlüs Xheraltescù]] resigned his seat on November 12 for personal reasons.


The incumbent senator [[Miestrâ Schivâ]] resigned her seat on April 22, in response to the [[2014 In re Petition of Xhorxh Asmour (L)|controversy surrounding her 2013 election]], and stood for a fresh mandate.
No by-election was held because of administrative confusion between the National and Provincial chanceries. As the only declared candidate, [[Gödafrïeu Valcádac'h]] was declared Senator unopposed by the Provincial chancery. No complaints were raised.
