It was founded by Harry Wozniak, Bob Murphy, and Dan Lorentz as part of a peculiarist plan to be annoying, and consisted of a small area entirely within Vuode province. The province lasted only a little under a year, and was eliminated on 2 Apr 1993/XIV in the legal reform sometimes known as the Second Cantonization, which eliminated any deviation from the canton plan of the First Cantonization. Bradford was officially annexed back into Vuode on 15 Apr 1993/XIV, and has since passed into Talossan history as one of the many brief territorial disputes to erupt between the country's derivativists and peculiarists.
