Lüc da Schir
The Right Honourable Cpl. Lüc Iánescu-Braneusefiglhëu da Schir MC (Luca Badin, b. December 28th, 1997) is a Talossan citizen from the province of Benito, of which he is also the current Maestro. He is the current Minister of Stuff of the Kingdom of Talossa.
He was granted citizenship on 21 March, 2012/XXXIII.
Political Career
While his political career started among the ranks of the RUMP, he quickly moved towards the Moderate Radical Party of Talossa, of which he's the current Party Leader. He also served as Party Whip for the 46th Cosa, and is the current Party Secretary following the resignations of the previous Secretary Alexandreu Soleiglhfred.
Cosa
He is serving as MC for the 46th Cosa, holding nineteen seats out of fiftysix owned by the MRPT. He had previously held six seats in the 44th Cosa and seven in the 45th. So far, he has never missed a single vote.
Senate
Da Schir announced his candidacy to Benito's Senate Seat on July 23rd, 2014, in the first election to a full senatorial term since 2012, when Iason Taiwos was elected.
Government
Da Schir served as Minister of Stuff during the 46th Cosa.
Provincial
He is the current Maestro of Benito and Member of the Benitian Legislative Chancellery.
He ran for the 44th and 45th Cosa Maestro elections in Benito, but he lost both of them (44th: 2-4 vs Istefan Perþonest; 45th: 5-6 vs Timoþi Asmourescu).
During the 45th Cosa, after Maestro Asmourescu's renounciation of citizenship, the current Arvitieir Prima of Benito Istefan Perþonest proposed da Schir as the new Maestro to fill the now vacant office. With six votes in favour the motion passed and da Schir was appointed Maestro.
After the MRPT won in a landslide ten of the eleven seats of the Chancellery, he was confirmed in his office for the 46th Cosa.
Da Schir is also the current Arvitieir Prima of Benito ad interim, following Istefan Perþonest's resignations.
Journalism
He is currently the Chief Executive of the Talossan Observer news company, which he founded in the late March 2012. Due to a chronical lack of time, and to his involvement in national politics, however, any publication is currently suspended.
Militar Career
Lüc da Schir serves as bandsman tubist in the 1st Platoon of the Zouaves of the Royal Bodyguard with the grade of Corporal.
Personal Life
He lives in Cordenons, Italy, with his parents (Ián Braneu Braneusëfiglheu da Schir and Marlaina Lupulardit) and his sister (Erschéveþ da Schir), attending the John Fitzgerald Kennedy High School of Pordenone, Italy, with good marks so far. He plays the trumpet in his hometown's musical band, the Filarmonica of Cordenons.
