El Lexhatx directs that "[t]he Clerk shall maintain a record of docket numbers and judicial assignments to be archived along with the final disposition of the case for ease of reference" and that "this file shall be available to any citizen," specifying also that "[a]ppeals shall be filed as separate actions and will be assigned new docket numbers but shall be archived together with the original action" (Lexh.G.4.5-6). These cort records should not be edited by anyone other than the Clerk of Courts; this prohibition includes all jurists.

The below records represent all petitions brought before a Talossan cort from XLIII/2022 forward. Presently, past cases will also be retroactively filed under the New System. Each petition is listed with a docket number derived from the date of inception, the order in which it was received in the year, and the order in which it was received within a given matter.

Key

The DOCKET field indicates the docket number assigned by the Clerk of Courts. The first number is the Talossan year during which the petition was filed, the second number is assigned to each initial petition in sequential order, and the third number is assigned to each subsequent petition pertaining to the same matter in order. So, for example, a docket number of XLL-4-2 would show that the petition was filed in the year 2021/XLII, and it was the second petition (probably an appeal) filed with regards to the fourth matter that year.

The PETITION field indicates a name for the petition. These are only roughly standardized, and are intended to be broadly descriptive.

The JUDGE field indicates the judge assigned to hear the case by the Clerk of Courts. Judicial assignment is made at random. The initials "CJ" stand for "Community Jurist," the title for judges of the Cort Xheneral, while "J" stands for "Judge," the title for judges on the Cort Pü Inalt.

The PETITIONER field indicates the person who filed the initial petition.

The CORT field indicates the cort in which the case was heard. "CX" stands for "Cort Xheneral," the current lower cort. "M" stands for "Magistracy," a lower cort which has since been discontinued. And "CpI" stands for "Cort Pü Inalt," the uppermost cort of the Kingdom of Talossa.

The PROC field contains a link to the proceedings in the case on the relevant Wittenberg thread.

The ORDER field contains a link to the decision or order of the presiding judge.

The AUTH field indicates the final authority under which the order was given. "M" stands for "majority," "P" stands for plurality, and "PC" stands for "per curiam."
