I, Márcüs Cantaloûr, Seneschál del Regipäts Talossán, with the full weight and authority of my august position do hereby and forthwith declare the following Prime Dictate:
WHEREAS, the world lost one of its greatest wargaming sons with the sad death of Redmond A. Simonsen, and
WHEREAS, Redmond A. Simonsen was the co-founder and art director of the world renowned Simulations Publications, Incorporated and the wargaming magazine, "Strategy and Tactics", and
WHEREAS, through his genius and love of wargaming, Talossa's National Pastime, Redmond A. Simonsen influenced a generation of Talossans,
THEREFORE, a period of official mourning for the death of Redmond A. Simonsen shall be observed in the Kingdom of Talossa on Friday, March 18th 2005.
