The Order for the Nation (L'Urderi per la Naziun in Talossan) is one of the four Orders of Knighthood in the Kingdom of Talossa. Knights or dames admitted to the order are entitled to add the honourific 'UrN' to their name.

The Order for the Nation is the senior order and is the most commonly awarded. The Crown recognises worthy citizens, offering them admission into the order for long and dedicated service to the nation, or for particular acts of valour in the defence of the realm.

The nine Knights of the Order for the Nation, in order of admission, are:

  • Sir Josh Mac'ht, UrN, admitted by King Robert I in recognition of heroic action during the 1982 campaign that resulted in the conquest of Atatürk, when Sir Josh stanched the flow of blood from the royal person at a point on the Atatürk coast known since as Porto Josh.
  • His Lordship Sir Ian, Count von Metairia, UrN, UrB, UrCZC, in recognition of his fervent dedication to the nation over the course of multiple years, including multiple terms of service as Prime Minister.
  • Sir Tamorán dal Navâ, UrN, admitted August 2000 by Robert I in recognition of his efforts while serving as Prime Minister to "keep the peace by protecting the Kingdom from [the] outside forces" of Penguinea.
  • His Lordship Sir Fritz, Baron von Buchholtz, UrN, Cin., S.H., GST, admitted 30 November 2005 by the Regency of King Louis, following service as Prime Minister, seeing Talossa through the crisis of the abdication of Robert I, and in recognition of his defence of the Organic Law that followed.
  • Sir Samuhel Tecladeir, UrN, admitted 23 October 2006 by the Regency of King Louis, following service as Prime Minister, and in recognition of his earlier efforts in partnership with Sir Fritz in defending the nation from attempts to undermine it being made by former citizens.
  • Sir Trotxâ Betiñér, UrN, admitted 5 November 2006 by the Regency of King Louis, in recognition of his establishment of the Royal College of Arms.
  • Sir Cresti Mataiwos Siervicü, UrN, admitted 28 July 2007 by King John, recognising his authorship of many of the key pieces of legislation reforming Organic Law to protect the nation against tyrranical acts and secure the constitutional monarchy, his service upon the bench as a jurist, and his work on the Talossan language.
  • Sir Xhorxh Pol Briga, UrN, admitted 26 December 2009 by King John, in recognition of many years of dedicated service to the nation and the culture, and especially his ardent outreach to the expatriates of the Republic of Talossa.
  • Sir Mick Preston, UrN, admitted 12 October 2010 by King John, in recognition of his four years of continual service in the Chancery.

His Majesty King John is also a member ex officio of the order (as he is of all orders of knighthood). However, the Order of the Nation was the one order to which the King was admitted (on 30 November 2005 by the Regency of King Louis) prior to his accession to the throne.
