The Provincial Status for the South-West Territories Act

WHEREAS, the South-West Territories (T.S.O.) are an integral part of Talossa, and, WHEREAS, the T.S.O. currently has far more residents than several Talossan provinces, including Florencia Province, and,

WHEREAS, the T.S.O. has expressed a desire to become a Province per Article 88 of the Talossan Constituziun of 1988, receiving all of the rights, duties and obligations therein, and,

WHEREAS, the Cosa has historically tried to ensure that onicial names of geographical and political areas provide a sense of the history of our great nation, and,

WHEREAS, Harvard professor Bany Fell has published somewhat conclusive evidence of Old World-New World contacts before Columbus, and that some ofthe ancient tribes of the Southwestem United States were of North African Berber origin, including the Maricopa Indians of central Arizona,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the 21st Cosa of Talossa that the Talossan held territories now named the South-West Territories (T .S.O.), consisting of the cantons of Prachelion, Buffonia, Frédéricville, Murphysboro, Wesernia and Schneideria, be granted all rights, duties and obligations provided under Article 88 of the Talossan Constituziun of 1988 by conveying upon it the status of Province,

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this new province be named Maricopa, in honor of the North African Berber links to ancient North American indian tribes, as well as the many citizens of Talossa who are expatriates of the great U.S. state of Arizona.
