The law in force at the time required the Ziu assent for BHAID donations made with private money (48RZ15 "D.2.6.3.1.2 With respect to legislative appropriations its funding should be determined as a component of an approved Budget covering expected expenditures for an entire government term, with additional expenditures approved by the Ziu. For the purposes of funding decisions, additional expenditures includes disbursements composed of monies derived from private individual and organizational contributions.") |
WHEREAS, a substantial donation has been made to the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance and International Development in unusual and unexpected circumstances, and;
WHEREAS it is not doing any good sitting in the Treasury, and;
WHEREAS, pursuant to 48RZ17, the Humans Helping Other Humans Act, the Board of Governors convened starting on 18th December 2015 to determine which organization would receive donations. BHAID Governors selected GiveDirectly.org due to its innovative programme of direct cash grants to extremely poor households in the regions of Kenya and Uganda in which it operates;
THEREFORE the following upon co-signature of the reigning King shall be enacted:
the Bureau of Humanitarian Aid and International Development is authorised to contribute $192.56 (128.37 louise) received from Talossa Aid to GiveDirectly.org as a part of the Kingdom of Talossa's international development programme.
