Carteir Montagnhă

Carteir Montagnhă is a micronationalist, and citizen of the Kingdom of Talossa. He is belongs to the province of Fiovă.

Early interest in micronationalism

Carteir first encountered the concept of micronationalism between 2020 and 2021 through online resources such as Wikipedia, MicroWiki, and YouTube. He was particularly interested in how self-declared nations functioned as cultural and political projects. This exposure led him to study the structures of micronations, including constitutions, symbols, and diplomacy, and inspired him to develop his own vision of statehood. On 29 March 2025, Carteir founded the Empire of Norea, prior to his interest in Talossa.

Engagement with Talossa

Carteir became interested in the Kingdom of Talossa in 2025, around the same period as Norea’s foundation. He researched Talossa through sources such as MicroWiki, Wikipedia, and Talossa.com. On 2 August 2025, he established contact with King Txec of Talossa, inviting him to participate as a guest speaker in MicroLeads, an online event hosted on the Discord server Micronations. The event took place on 17 August 2025, during which Carteir and King Txec exchanged views on their experiences in micronationalism.

Following this interaction, Carteir deepened his engagement with the Talossan community. On 19 August 2025, he submitted his application for Talossan citizenship and joined the Wittenberg Forum, Talossa’s main platform for civic activity. He began communicating with established citizens and learning about the nation’s culture and institutions. On 9 September 2025, he was officially granted Talossan citizenship and assigned to the province of Fiovă, after taking the Oath of Allegiance.
