Breakoff of the Month: The Republic of Somaliland Act
WHEREAS ever since the collapse of civil order in Somalia sometime during the British administration, the northern, ex-British provinces of Somalia have constituted themselves as a separate "Republic of Somaliland" with its capital at Hargeisa, and WHEREAS this Republic has shown itself to possess a fair degree of internal coherence, and WHEREAS Somaliland cotnains within it a city with the name of Berbera, of obvious interest to Talossans; THEREFORE the Cosâ hereby adds Somaliland to the growing list of ethnic secessionist splitters whom we recognise as a sovereign independent state.
