22RZ24 — The Senäts Wake-Up Call Act
WHEREAS the Senäts has never once asserted its own existence,
AND WHEREAS the maxim "if you don't use it you lose it" applies equally to the Senäts, which is in danger of becoming a dead letter, and not the stabilizing house it is supposed to be,
THE ZIU ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
- The Cosâ urges all Senators to vote against this Act.
- If not one "contrâ" vote is received from any Senator, the Cosâ calls upon the King to use His arbitrary power to dissolve the Senäts and appoint new Senators more capable of belonging to that august council.
NOTE: For this Act to have effect, Members of the Cosâ should vote "për".
Scribe's Notes
- Records indicating the fate of this bill are not in the possession of the Scribery. However, as the Senate membership was not shaken up in any way, during the 22nd Cosa, the Scribery assumes that this act failed to pass.
