The Ministry of Public Records (La Ministrà dals Adnalăs Püblici, pronounced [la minisˈtra dals adˈnaləs ˈpyblitʃi]) is responsible for ensuring that the following are available to all Talossans:
- the records of the Scribery of Abbavilla, meaning the Organic and statutory laws of the Kingdom, as described in Lexh.C.1.3; and
- any other information necessary for or useful to citizens, including but not limited to reports and data about Talossan life and Government activity.
The Royal Archivist, head of the Royal Archives, is responsible to the Minister of Public Records, and reports to and consults with the Minister concerning the conduct of the Archives as and when requested, necessary or useful. As an Officer of the Royal Civil Service, however, the Archivist is not subject to the Minister's direction except as required by law.
The current Minister is the Alexandreu Davinescu.
History
The ministry was created in 2024/XLV, when it was created out of the former Ministry of STUFF, along with the Ministry of Propaganda and the Directorate of STUFF.
