Law:The Attorney General Advisory Board Act
34RZ23 — The Attorney General Advisory Board Act
WHEREAS, the name “Talossa” is a legal trademark held by King Robert I in trust for the entire Talossan nation, and
Whereas, some unauthorized individuals have violated Talossa’s legal ownership rights by using the name “Talossa” to identify their own club, and have registered multiple domain names containing the name “Talossa” in order to diminish Talossa's presence on search engines and to defraud the public,
Therefore, the Ziu hereby empowers the Prime Minister to appoint, by PD, a Cußéglh d’Adnastaziun (Advisory Board), made up of trusted, loyal Talossans. The Board shall have one formal representative from each political party holding seats in the Cosâ and/or Senate.
The function of the Board shall be to consult with legal counsel and other advisors, to explore Talossa’s legal options, and to suggest courses of action to the government for the purpose of trademark enforcement and related matters. Should such action be taken, it shall be taken by the Attorney General in the name of all Talossans.
The Attorney General may take no official action without the consent of the Prime Minister, but (due to the sensitive nature of his work) the consent of the Ziu is not required on a case-by-case basis. The Attorney General, of course, is subject in all his official actions to the oversight of the Prime Minister, who is in turn subject to the Cosâ through the Vote of Confidence. Any actions taken by the Attorney General may also be voided by law.
