The Leader of the Opposition Act
The following is added as Article 55b of the Constituziun:
Art. 55b. Except at times when there are no members of the Cosâ who do not support the Government, there shall be a Leader of the Opposition who shall be appointed by the King. He shall be the member of the Cosâ who, in the deliberate judgment of the King, is best able to command support of a majority of those members who do not support the Government, or, Q there is no such person, the member who commands the support of the single largest group of members opposed to the Government. The Leader of the Opposition shall vacate his office if his appointment is revoked by the King because he is no longer able to command the support required for his appointment.
