The Locking the Barn after the Horse Has Bolted on Proxy Voting Act
WHEREAS according to Article XIII, Section 4 of the Organic Law, "A member [of the Ziu] may, in writing, delegate his authority to vote (transfer his seat) to another person who can attend the Living Cosâ, but no individual may hold more than one proxy seat (in addition to his 'real' seat, if any),"; and
WHEREAS there is no legal definition for how this proxy vote may be employed;
THEREFORE the Ziu hereby resolves, that a person who is named as a Proxy Vote for another in a Living Cosâ is under the moral and legal obligation, whenever possible, to represent the original seat-holder's wishes and intentions on specific Ziu bills and the Vote of Confidence, whenever and however he is instructed or publicly notified to do so.
