Law:The National Hygiene (Disgusting Practices Abatement) Act
19RC5 — The National Hygiene (Disgusting Practices Abatement) Act
Despite Talossa’s natural sympathy with Generation X, the Cosâ hereby strikes a blow for aesthetics and hygiene, and officially condemns the grotesque and barbaric fad of "body piercing." The Cosâ urges all Talossans and Cestoûrs to refrain from such self-destructive behaviour and be content with (at the very most) two basic earrings, one on each side. The Cosâ furthermore encourages all Talossans and Cestoûrs to publicly retch at the repulsive sight of pierced noses, cheeks, tongues, nipples, and any even stranger body parts. Finally the Cosâ instructs insurance companies not to pay damages or compensation to anyone injured or infected by such self-inflicted wounds. Talossa must take a stand on something, and this is it!
