The Remembrance Day Act
WHEREAS the first World War officially ended on November 11, 1918; and
WHEREAS many Talossans feel that World War I was a defining moment in history; and
WHEREAS the date of November 11 of each year has been set aside by many nations of the world as a day in which they can remember the sacrifices made by soldiers, their families and the nation as a whole; and
WHEREAS it is important for all of us to remember to past in the hope that it is not repeated;
THEREFORE Talossa officially recognises November 11 of each year as Remembrance Day.
