Thanks Alexandreu. ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 01:28, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
- Sure. Just a note: because you're not a citizen, you should probably not be editing any actual content now. Normally we actually have a policy of only allowing citizens to edit, in fact, but the MinStuff appears to be directing an exception. Thank you so much for the help you've given, and I think the work you've done is great.--AD (talk) 13:15, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
- Also, just curious about if we've ever run into each other on the wikisphere - where are you a sysop? I'm one of the mods of RationalWiki, myself - ever been there?--AD (talk) 13:21, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
- If you know Colonel Sanders from RationalWiki, then we have a mutual contact. I was a sysop on Uncyclopedia from 2005 to 2011, when I resigned. I continue to hold bureaucrat, sysop and rollback flags on various Uncyclomedia projects, under another handle. We can discuss more via email if you want specifics.
- Not sure I can resist editing. I can promise to keep it to menial tasks, with no tangible content added. If that's still too much, you'd better revoke the flag. I'll go crazy, but I was halfway there anyway, so no serious harm done. :) ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 22:59, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
Just a quick note: I have enlisted you in the Citizens group because you asked me to do so (actually, because you asked Epic to ask me to do so), and I knew you were a trustworthy prospective, hence my aforementioned exception. Welcome on TalossaWiki again. --the MinStuff --Lüc (talk) 09:59, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks again. I sincerely appreciate the exception. With the extended period that my Immigration took to process, "just one more fortnight" seemed especially long. It's been helpful to have both this place and Witt to be able to post to. ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 10:30, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
I've added extra rights to your account a little early, because I'll still be traveling in the morning. You should also feel free to edit page content, but I'd stress that you should take it easy until you find your Talossan feet, so to speak. We have a lot of history and culture! Good luck!--AD (talk) 00:59, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
- I'll tread lightly! I think the depth of the history—warts and all—is part of the appeal for me. The nationette is fortunate to have so much captured in its books and documents. ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 01:02, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
Merit
You have been awarded the
TalossaWiki Order of Merit Keep up the good work! |
- Thanks! Starting today I'm trying to add articles. Today I did two. I'd like to average 4 per week, stub-sized or better. ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 23:12, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for the colspan stuff on the MRPT page, Sevastain. Didn't really remember what was the keyword to achieve that. --Lüc (talk) 20:37, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
- Happy to help, Lüc. :) ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 21:09, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
Law redirects
Hey, great work! But just so you know, Dien has a bot that he is going to run to do all of them. So don't sweat them, if you don't want to :)--AD (talk) 11:41, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
- As they'd gone unnoticed, I was beginning to wonder. Go Dien! ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 16:29, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
Divs
You are much more experianced on coding divs and such. Can you tell me how to align text to the center in one. Every time I try, it either breaks it, or doesn't work at all :)
- Sure. Here's a template: {{center}}
- This makes it easy
- The code contains the necessary syntax which you may also use instead.
- Let me know if there's anything else I can help with. I tweaked one of your sandbox boxes with "text-align:center; margin:auto;". Is centering the whole box what you wanted to do? If not, remove "margin:auto;". ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 20:07, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
Licensing
Hey there! Saw your update to the TPA page - I was wondering if you had any suggestions about image licenses that might work better for our needs? So far we have public domain, property of the nation, limited release for only the wiki use, and a wide-ranging "any other free license" one. I realize now that we probably should have a "fair use" one as well... any other thoughts?--AD (talk) 23:03, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- Fair Use is fine. I was hesitant to upload anything on the basis that doing so might surrender copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property restrictions.
- Well, we have a version that only cedes us the right to display the image, without otherwise affecting copyright, trademark, etc. "This is my own work" uploads the image under these terms: "This image is my own work, or I own the copyright. By uploading it, I hereby authorize its limited re-use on TalossaWiki. This authorization may not be rescinded. All other rights are reserved. This image may not be used on any other site, publication, or media." It's about the most limited form possible.--AD (talk) 20:28, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- It's the "may not be rescinded" portion that gives me pause. If someone else uploads my content under a Fair Use claim, I haven't surrendered any rights. It's for them to make the case that the use is reasonable. ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 11:52, 16 August 2014 (UTC)

Oh, also, I'd love to join as a member.--AD (talk) 23:06, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- As an individual, do you mean? ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 17:39, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- Well, Beric'ht is an affiliate, but I'd also like to be a member, yes.--AD (talk) 20:28, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- Thus far, there's been no record keeping (that I know of) that lists individuals. It seems like the writers are assumed to have membership through their employment by the affiliate. I'll start a list . ~ Sevastáin Pinátsch 11:52, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
