The '''Day-Late, Louis-Short Halloween Story''' (in [[Talossan]]: ''Romanet schpeit par 'n ziua es incopös par 'n luïç per l'Oíc'ha da Marderour'') is a currently not observed tradition of the Ladintsch community to publish a translation of a short story appropriate for the Halloween season. Although appropriate for Halloween, it is customary to release the translation (well) after Halloween. The tradition was initiated in {{year|2009}}, and continued without fail until {{year|2015}}.
