35RZ1 — The Regency Election Act of 2005
WHEREAS the former King of Talossa renounced his citizenship without appointing a Regent or Council of Regency to administer the Government during the minority of his heir, King Louis, and
WHEREAS the Organic Law requires that in such circumstances the Ziu “shall be called immediately”, and “immediately that it is assembled shall proceed to choose by law, a Regent or Council of Regency, who shall administer the Government in the name of the King, and exercise all the powers which are constitutionally vested in the King, until the legitimate Heir shall have attained the age of eighteen years, which age is declared to be the legal majority of such Sovereign”, and
WHEREAS the Kingdom’s current Burgermeister of Inland Revenue, Dr. Greg Rajala, is a resposible, intelligent, trustworthy, mature, careful, and humble citizen of Talossa, without any personal political ambitions whatsoever, and
WHEREAS the Ziu has the utmost confidence that Greg will exercise any office to which he is appointed or elected with the utmost probity and fair-mindedness,
THEREFORE the Ziu hereby elects and appoints Dr. Greg Rajala to the office of Regent for King Louis I, during the King’s minority.
