An Act to Officially Recognize Taiwan
Whereas during the 1930 and 1940 there was massive in-fighting in China to gain control of the country and;
Whereas the forces confronting each other were communist and nationalist and;
Whereas the nationalists weren't great, but were better than the communists and;
Whereas the nationalists got booted off to Taiwan after the communist victory in 1949 and;
Whereas Taiwan is functioning well, is properous and democratic (fist fights in the parliament excluded);
Therefore the Kingdom of Talossa officially recognizes Taiwan, hereto referred to in official documentation as the Republic of China, as a real country not just a rogue province of China;
Recognizes the government of Taiwan (the Republic of China) as being the legitimate government of China;
Salutes Chiang Kai-Shek and the Kuomintang for their courage in standing up to the communists and;
Encourages all nations of the world to initiate diplomatic and economic relations with Taiwan.
