The Official Spelling Act
WHEREAS since 1985 the official spelling of English in Talossa has been 'British' and Whereas not everyone in Talossa knows all the differences between British and American English, Therefore the Cosâ hereby establishes a Committee on Spelling to consist of Robert Madison and John Jahn (Talossa's to mosst active writers, in any language), plus anyone else who wants to join the committee, to develop rules for the official spelling of Talossan English, it being understood that the final resuklt will be neither pure-Britisih nor pure-American, but a substantially American spelling with local quirks.
