- On 22 July 1985 King Robert officially dissolved the Cosâ three months earlier than scheduled, in order to hold Senäts and Cosâ elections simultaneously;
- [2] The Kingdom's autumn elections, which should (according to the Organic Law) have ended in September, were extended to October by Royal decree because some ballots had been lost in the Støtanneu-loss disaster. When it did end, on 15 October 1985 p.187
- 1986 The King dissolved the Cosâ immediately, and called elections for the 10th of March, to last one month. p.191

The lower house was to be democratically elected. This was called the Cosâ, whose name has twisted origins: In Iceland, the parliament is called the Althing. A "Thing" is a kind of assembly.»[3] | |

1985/VI 3 July | 1st | (title unkown) | «The King got the Cosâ to approve a law on English spelling in Talossa, mandating that "the written standard in Talossa for all government documents... shall be that form of written English which enjoys world-wide acceptance, namely the so-called Queen's English."»[4] |

1987/VIII 29 June | 5th | The Vote By Post Act | The Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader jointly approved a bill enacting "Vote by Post" as the nation's parliamentary system, a majr revision of the 1985 Organic Law. After the next election, each party would obtain a certain number of seats in a 200-seat Cosâ, proportional to its share of the vote. This would involve many more citizens in actively governing the country, since the seats would actually be occupied by voting citizens. The system would be tested after the next election, which turned out to be much sooner than anyone had expected. p. 231
Talossa's representative government, hammered out point by point in the several "summit meanings" between Dan Lauriéir and Robert Madison in the autumn of 1986 and the spring of 1987 and which culminated in the acceptance in June of their joint "Vote by Post" plan, began in earnest on Septmber 1st. p.238 6RC82 amends Article 2 of the Vote By Post Act COULD BE THE SAME LAW BELOW, MONTH SHOULD BE AUGUST AS IN THE CLARK |

For the first five Cosas of its existence, Talossa was a dictatorship: while there were numerous proclamations, declarations, and laws passed during this Dictatür Atx, they do not represent the will of any democratic legislature, and so they are not recorded here.
Old
I am going to compile two books: a Complete Manual of Law, and a book of selections. The former will include all in-force laws, while the latter will include only those laws that have some real immediate impact - i.e. no symbolic, naming, or irrelevant laws. While the establishment of the Talossan Finance Corporation is interesting and in-force, it's also irrelevant to current legislators because the TFC does not currently exist. I have a pretty good idea of what laws I will be including in this selected law book, but any suggestions are also welcome. Thanks!--AD (talk) 20:06, 19 August 2012 (CDT)

Lawspace
I have designed the structure for Lawspace, which would be a special section of the wiki that only authorized scribes could edit. I'd like to start making the switch soon. Is that acceptable to all involved?--AD (talk) 04:26, 9 December 2012 (MSK)
I am really going to do this. Anyone with any thoughts about the best way to do it, and possible complications, should let me know. A bot might be the best at this, I'm thinking.--AD (talk) 19:46, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
Scribe's Notes
The latter part of the Digest has a huge number of notes for each Clark that do not seem immediately useful. This page is already quite large, and so it might be useful to delete them. It would not take much time. If it is useful to track this info for historical purposes, a dedicated page with a dedicated table seems like it might be much more helpful.--AD (talk) 01:26, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
