Viteu Marcianüs
Introduction to the Kingdom of Talossa
In the summer of 2006, Viteu resided in Oceanside, NY and worked in a resort community known as Cherry Grove on Fire Island in New York five days a week. He had a lot of free time to drink and live a carefree life of debauchery and decadence. The days were spent working in the kitchen, both as a dish washer and doing food prep, at a restaurant. The nights consisted of vast amounts of beer, vodka, and rum. During one of these nights, the term micronation got thrown around by some friends with whom he had been drinking.
After going home on his days off, he quickly researched micronations and discovered the Kingdom of Taloss. He applied for citizenship on July 27, 2006 was instructed by then Secretary of State John Woolley to create a Wittenberg account. Viteu did just this and promptly created an account and was introduced to the Kingdom on July 31, 2006. Once a fortnight had passed, he was petition for citizenship. Citizenship was granted on August 21, 2006.
National Politics
Early days and the RUMP
Viteu joined the RUMP upon his grant of citizenship and served as a Member of Cosa (MC) in the 36th, 37th, and 38th Cosas. He also served as Deputy Minister of Immigration and Minister of Immigration during this period. Under his time as Immigration Minister, he started the TalossAssistant program and oversaw Talossa grow to over one hundred citizens. By the time of the 38th Cosa, he resigned his position as Immigration Minister and took the position of Capo di tutti capi in the Mysterious Executive Coven.
Member of the Opposition
By the end of the 38th Cosa, Viteu had decided to experiment with Opposition politics. After a mild disagreement with the RUMP leadership, he joined the newly formed Progressive Party and served as an MC in the 39th Cosa. He was also a member of the ZPT during the 40th Cosa.
Return to the RUMP
After a tumultuous election season, Viteu went through a period of inactivity. When he returned, he decided to enter the Senatorial race in Vuode for the seat vacated by Sir Trotxâ Betiñéir. He ran as the RUMP candidate and was largely considered the underdog, as Opposition parties had dominated Vuodian politics for some time. Viteu won a surprise victory and has served the RUMP faithfully ever since.
