Template:IPA-t/doc
This template is used to display English International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). The pronunciation is broken into individual phonemes so that they will have mouseovers to indicate pronunciation (the complete list is available at Template:T). All phonemes from IPA for English are available. For anything outside that set, a different template should be used.
If [[unsupported input]]
is displayed, it means that an unsupported input or non-existent sound file was used. Such instances are tallied at Category:Ill-formatted IPAc-en transclusions, where they can be reviewed and fixed.
The first three variables can be used to indicate a prescript (eg, English pronunciation:). All available flags are shown at Template:T. The named parameter Template:Para may be used to link to an audio file.
