A by-election to fill the vacant office of Capitán was held from 14 August 2015/XXXVI to 28 August 2015/XXXVI; it was administered by Fiovă Secretary of State, Éovart Andrinescù. This was consequent on the resignation of Carlüs Xheráltescù after he became Seneschál of the Kingdom, and in accordance with section 4.2 of the Provincial Constitution.
