Whereas, the long suffering Basque nation has an ancient language and culture worth preserving, and Whereas the debilitating and demoralising effects of living under Spanish rule are truly blood-curdling, Therefore the Talossan nation proclaims its unbounded solidarity with, and moral support for, those sections of the Basque population engaged in a non-violent, democratic struggle for independence. Furthermore, the Foreign Minister is empowered to delivr our position to the Spanish delegation of the United Nations. Proposed by: Robert Madison (PC-Vuode)
