A by-election to fill the vacant office of Capitán was held from 14 August 2015/XXXVI to 28 August 2015/XXXVI; it was administered by Fiovă Secretary of State, Miestrâ Schivâ. This was consequent on the resignation of Carlüs Xheráltescu after he became Seneschal of the Kingdom, and in accordance with section 4.2 of the Provincial Constitution.
