WHEREAS
sometimes things slip through the net when legislating for our country, and
WHEREAS
the author of the recent finance bill has kindly asked as to whether the Office of the Prime Ministry could rectify a recent oversight in legislation, and
WHEREAS
the bill itself was a good bill and it would be a shame to draw out the process of changing it given an impending election, now
WHEREAS
the confusing and impossible changes made to the ninth section of Title D of el Lexhatx in 48RZ27, the Rebalancing Finances Act, are hereby reversed.
FURTHERMORE
- the ninth section of Title B of el Lexhatx, which currently reads:
9. The Secretary of State, or his appointed agent, shall charge, as prescribed by the Organic Law, a registration fee of 13¤20 (thirteen louise and twenty bence, equivalent to $20US) to each political party in forthcoming elections. Any Party or Parties which fail or refuse to pay the fee shall be deemed not registered.
shall be amended to read:
9. The Secretary of State, or his appointed agent, shall charge, as prescribed by the Organic Law, a registration fee of 6¤40 (six louise and forty bence, equivalent to $10 USD) to each political party in forthcoming elections. Any Party or Parties which fail or refuse to pay the fee shall be deemed not registered.
