January 2008 General Election

The January 2008 General Election was held from 15 December 2007/XXVIII to 14 January 2008/XXIX and elected members to the 38th Cosa and also filled Senator seats for Atatürk and Vuode. Elections to seven provincial assemblies plus six referendums to ratify amendments to the Organic Law were conducted as well. The election was administered by Secretary of State, Sir Mick Preston.
102 voters were elegible to vote in the election and 64 ballots were cast. Voter turnout was 62.74%
