34PD2 — Napoleon's Day PD
It was with great sadness that I learned of the closing of the illustrious and famed Napoleons store. Although never having the pleasure of visiting this wonderful place, there is no doubt in my mind of the special role that Napoleon's has in our nation's history and the lives of so many individual Talossans.
To honour Napoleon's, a place where both our gracious Sovereign and several legendary Talossans have congregated, I hereby declare Monday, February 21, 2005 to be NAPOLEONS DAY. On this day, I urge all Talossans to reflect on this most marvelous of stores and in some way to thank the owner, and fellow citizen, Fritz von Buchholtz. It would be most appropriate for citizens to engage in Talossa's national past-time of wargaming on this day.
I further declare that all Talossans who are so able, should make a pilgrimage to Napoleon's before the store closes its doors for the last time. May God bless Fritz and his family in all their future endeavours!
Done under my hand this sixteenth day of February, two thousand and five.
God Save The King!
