24RZ37 - The Stop the Linguicide Act WHEREAS on 5 July 1998 the Algerian government introduced legislation banning the usage of the Berber language in Algerian schools;
THEREFORE the Ziu hereby, in defence of its spiritual brethren across the Sea and as an act of support of indigenous languages everywhere, condemns the anti-Berber government of Algeria and demand that they allow the Berber language to be used as an official teaching medium.
