He took over from [[Xheraltescu Cabinet|Carlüs Xheraltescu]]. The other ministers were appointed on 4 April. Sir Cresti's party, the [[RUMP]], which was led by Sir [[Alexandreu Davinescu]], UrN came second in the elections, but managed to form a coalition with the [[MRPT]] led by [[Lüc da Schir]] and the newly formed [[TNC]], led by [[Breneir Itravilatx]]. He took over from Carlüs Xheraltescu. The other ministers were appointed on 4 April. Sir Cresti's party, the RUMP, which was led by Sir Alexandreu Davinescu, UrN came second in the elections, but managed to form a coalition with the MRPT led by Lüc da Schir and the newly formed TNC, led by Breneir Itravilatx. Sir Cresti's tenure ended on 1 January 2017/XXXVIII after the elections to the 50th Cosa, when he resigned in favour of his Distain, da Schir.
