Wittenburg is the National Forum of Talossa. Today, it uses proboards as it's host. Wittenburg is very important for communication among Talossans and is used often in Talossa. Despite this there is much done outside Wittenburg.

History

Wittenburg was created by Ryan Hughes is 1997. It got its name as an appropriate place for people to post things (like Martin Luther posted his theses to the doors of Wittenberg Cathedral). Each time the host has changed, the number has been incremented.

There was many wittenburgs across the history of Talossa. The first was Wittenburg I. Some early incarnations of Wittenburg lasted only a very short time before being replaced by later versions. Wittenburg X was the one in service at the time of the split, appearing in 2003 and became the forum of the Republic from 1 June '04. When the Republic later moved to a different forum, it was referred to as Wittenburg XIIb. Then the modern forum, Wittenburg XII, was created as the new forum of the Kingdom.
