A by-election to fill the post of Senator from Fiôvă was held from August 18 2014/XXXV to September 2012/XXXIII; it was administered by Fiovă Secretary of State, Éovart Andrinescu.
The incumbent senator Miestrâ Schivâ resigned her seat on April 22, in response to the controversy surrounding her 2013 election, and stood for a fresh mandate.
