Civil Service
Current Head: defunct
Function: To appoint and dismiss Permanent Secretaries

The Civil Service was an office that appointed and dismiss Permanent Secretaries within the cabinet ministries, as well as other non-political appointees. It was headed by a Commissioner of the Civil Service, nominated by a Commission, approved by 2/3rds of the Cosa and appointed by the King.

The Civil Service was merged with the Royal Household in 2018, to form the new Royal Civil Service. Its functions were given to a new Royal Civil Service Commission, headed by a Commissioner with the same role as the old position.

Civil Service Commission

The Civil Service Commission was a standing committee of the Cosa which oversaw the Civil Service and was tasked with nominating a Commissioner.

The last Civil Service Commission assembled in the 51st Cosa; it was nominated by Tuischac'h Munditenens Tresplet as follows:

Commission, 51st Cosa
   Txoteu É. Davinescu (MRPT)
   Iac Marscheir (MRPT)
   Miestrâ Schivâ, UrN (FreeDem)
   Ian da Bitour (RUMP)
   Txosuè Éiric Rôibeardescù (HAT)

A Commission does not seem to have assembled during the 50th Cosa.

The 49th Cosa's Civil Service Commission assembled as follows; it nominated Txoteu E. Davinescu to serve as Civil Service Commissioner.

Commission, 49th Cosa
   Glüc da Dhi (MRPT), Chairman
   Alexandreu Davinescu (RUMP)
   Breneir Itravilatx (TNC)
   Txec dal Nordselva (FreeDem)
   Owen Edwards (PP)

Similarly, no records of the formation of a Commission for the 48th Cosa exist, even though, during the 48th Cosa, Txosue Roibeardescu was nominated and confirmed as Civil Service Commissioner. This was the 47th Cosa's Civil Service Commission, appointed by Tuischac'h Iusti Canun:

Commission, 47th Cosa
   Sevastáin Pinátsch (MRPT)
   Carlüs Xheraltescù (Lib)
   Gödafrïeu Válcadác'h (ZRT)
   Owen Edwards (PP)
   Txec dal Nordselvă (RUMP)
