===Scribe's Notes===
The Scribery of Abbavilla has noticed profound issues with the recently passed 49RZ2.
Specifically, the text quoted in the bill (below) does not match existing text in El Lex.
''1.1.1. Members of the Chancery are to be considered as if they were Deputy Secretary of State, without the ability to replace the Secretary should he become available. Members may act in the name of the Secretary of State and perform official business as delegated to them by the Secretary. (30RZ11)

El Lex. C.1.1.1 actually reads:
''1.1.1. One member of the Chancery shall be the Royal Data Clerk, heading the Office of Dynamic Data Management. The function of the Office of Dynamic Data Management is to manage all computer records owned by the Kingdom of Talossa for its official functions and delegated to its care in order to help other Royal Households, Ministries or any other organization of the Kingdom which needs data management. The Royal Data Clerk may be the same person as the Secretary of State. The Royal Data Clerk shall be considered an Officer of the Royal Household.''
''
I believe the author of the bill, Marti-Pair Furxheir , intended to revise El Lex. C.1.1.3 which reads:
''1.1.3. Members of the Chancery are to be considered as if they were Deputy Secretary of State, without the ability to replace the Secretary should he become unavailable. Members may act in the name of the Secretary of State and perform official business as delegated to them by the Secretary. Once the requirements of C.1.1.1.1 above have been fulfilled, at least three members of the Chancery at any time shall have all the access required to carry out the Chancery's functions under this section.
''
However, even the existing text does not match the language used in the bill. Therefore, the Scribery cannot amend El. Lex. as the Ziu directs without direction.
Because there was NO scribe for a time, El Lex. was not being updated. 48RZ31 updated Article C, but it was not reflected in the Wiki until I updated the article on March 31, after 49RZ2 had been hoppered.
The language Marti-Pair Furxheir intended to fix was fixed in 48RZ31. My only real option is probably to ask the king to veto 49RZ2 to prevent the text to revert back.

Scribe's Notes

The Scribery of Abbavilla has noticed profound issues with the recently passed 49RZ2.

Specifically, the text quoted in the bill (below) does not match existing text in El Lex.

1.1.1. Members of the Chancery are to be considered as if they were Deputy Secretary of State, without the ability to replace the Secretary should he become available. Members may act in the name of the Secretary of State and perform official business as delegated to them by the Secretary. (30RZ11)

Members may act in the name of the Secretary of State and perform official business as delegated to them by the Secretary. (30RZ11)

El Lex. C.1.1.1 actually reads:

1.1.1. The Royal Data Clerk shall be considered an Officer of the Royal Household.

I believe the author of the bill, Marti-Pair Furxheir , intended to revise El Lex. C.1.1.3 which reads:
