The University of Talossa is charged with providing educational opportunities and recognizing achievement in Talossan academic studies and accomplishments. While it claims authority over the campus in Atatürk Province (better known as the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee), it only actively manages the operation of an online extension college. The athletic and academic mascot of the University is the Fighting Squirrel.

The current Regent of the University of Talossa is Istefan Perþonest.
