Late Night with Sevastáin Pinátsch is a comedy talk and variety show on KATV created, hosted, written, produced, and otherwise shamelessly milked by Sevastáin Pinátsch. It premiered on 22 April 2014/XXXV to a crowd of several, and has since gone on to attract a ravenous following of several more.
Debut
Late Night was founded a few hours after station KATV, when it occurred to Pinátsch that television stations are generally more successful when they broadcast content.
Atatürk's low property values (reportedly, 12 cents per square kilometer), permissive broadcast rules, and downright sleazy licensing scheme made it a natural fit for a startup with no budget and a business plan consisting of a thick, attractively leather bound, blank notebook.
Format
Late Night consists of an opening monologue, a comedy video from the field, and an interview with a special guest. The segments are generally posted to Wittenberg over a period of three consecutive days, allowing viewers a chance to comment on the episodes in progress.
Ratings and Reception
Pinátsch has stated that Late Night is "Talossa's most popular and longest-running television broadcast—allegedly due to its high quality, but arguably also due to a combined lack of precedent and competition."[1]
