The song of Cézembre is Cézembre’s soon-to-be anthem. It was written on 19. March 2024/XLV by Barclamïu da Miéletz. Originally planned to be sung to the tune of Belgium’s anthem La Brabançonne, Barclamïu has now made an original melody for the anthem.
Lyrics:
Oh dear Cézembre, oh holy land of freedom,
For Thee our hand, for Thee our heart!
For Thee our blood, oh dearest homeland,
We swear to you, oh Cézembre!
You went through troubles, our dearest land,
And we have helped Thee through!
Henceforth, your people will keep singing:
The Law, the King and Freedom high! (2x)
