Owen Edwards is a Talossan citizen from the province of Cézembre.
A longstanding leading figure of the Progressive Party, he founded the party in 2008 and led it to its status as the main opposition to the RUMP governments until Reunision; afterwards, he still remained as leader until the party's de facto disbandment.
He served as Finance Minister during the First Da Schir Cabinet, whereupon he resigned in the waning days of the government to avoid conflicts of interest in an ongoing court case; he was slated to resume his post during the Xheraltescu Cabinet, but never did so.
In later years, Edwards served as Sénéchal of Cézembre, and was appointed Tuischac'h during the 50th Cosa, in what to date is his last term in the Ziu.
He serves on the Uppermost Court as a Puisne Justice, and used to serve on the Magistrates' Court when it was active.
Edwards is also the founder of the El Pretz 'Per Tomás Poetry Prize which is currently in its second cycle.
