Voting on legislation usually takes place in Talossan, whether such a vote takes place in the Senäts, the Cosa, or in the form of a referendum. Someone voting on legislation would use Per to indicate a vote in favour, Con (short for contra) to indicate a vote against, or Aus (short for austanéu) to abstain.
In contrast, MC's will usually vote Üc (Yes) or NON (No) on the VoC, as it is not a vote on a proposal but on a question.
