Progressive userbox

I'm making a Progressive userbox for you... what would you like it to say? Something like this?

P This user believes in a progressive Talossa!

Look good? Just tell me what you want.--AD (talk) 07:19, 6 July 2012 (CDT)

How about something like?:

P This user believes in progressive values such as culture before politics and humanitarian aid.

and it seems I've learned a little about templates by observing your wiki code :) Eðo_Grischun (talk) 22:41, 8 July 2012 (CDT)

All done, as you can see on your userpage.--AD (talk) 23:01, 8 July 2012 (CDT)

Past Clarks

I'm taking our design and pushing it into a template. (Template:ClarkNav) I think the design is good right now; might need to make some minor adjustments like color or pixel width or whatnot later. The hard part is creating a format for the template. Anyways, the Cosa and Senate votes are in there, the Final Results as reported by the SoS, and a list of just bills that were passed (and became law--referendums that passed the Ziu but not the G.E. wouldn't be on such a list). Also, I'm getting someone to make you an administrator soon to help me out in Template. Hope to see you on soon! Dient (talk) 16:44, 10 July 2012 (CDT)

Other things

Pengo Times, Talossan Press

On an entirely different subject from the Past Clark stuff, I'm trying to spring forth the Péngöpäts Times, a weekly publication for Péngöpäts. As Chairman of the Talossan Press Association, what should be my first steps in, well doing this? Dient (talk) 00:08, 19 July 2012 (CDT)

I'm going to revamp the TPA along with the other semi-defunct groups that I'm supposed to be involved with. Please stand by on that. In regards to the newspaper...well it's up to you. I make SdV using OpenWord and export to PDF. Takes a little bit of time and effort, but nothing crazy. You should take a look at some issues if you need inspiration. Stil da Vida Eðo_Grischun (talk) 10:13, 19 July 2012 (CDT)
I got bored sitting around my house doing nothing, so I figured I would head on back over here. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, see my talk page.) Anyways, I'll probably use Word or something too to publish the Pengo times; I've already been pouring over past Stil da Vidas for inspiration haha :) Let me know when you get TPA up and running again--as a suggested "feature" it would be nice for an automatic distribution system for press releases from, well, anyone from organizations to government officials. It would also be pretty cool for something syndicated maybe (not sure how well this one would work out) throughout all the TPA membered press associations. And yes, I would like to join. Poker

And on another note, how much do you enjoy poker? Well enough to help me create the "Colossal Provincial Poker Players Organization"? (That is C-3PO for short.) I only ask because, well, I feel like starting one of those uniquely Talossan groups. Dient (talk) 00:08, 19 July 2012 (CDT)

I'm guessing we will be playing Texas hold-em? If so, I love it. Also, I'm pretty good :) A Talossan poker group or even a league would be effing fantastic. I like the c-3P0 name. Eðo_Grischun (talk) 10:13, 19 July 2012 (CDT)
Actually its called Talossan hold-em; those damn Texans steal everything haha. :) Anyways, yes, Texas or Talossan hold-em is the only poker game I play these days. (I'm pretty good as well; can't wait for the showdown in the Tourney.) I thought the organization would be more like a group which would sponsor maybe a couple all-the-time poker games, and a couple tournaments. As for the C-3PO name, it has three meanings. One is that we could possibly send a C-3PO action figure to the winner of the tournaments we sponsor. Another is the "Colossal Prov..." name. The final one would be more of a promotional gimmick for the next tournament I had in mind: "The Cezembrian-Pengopatsian Poker Playing Organization"; more of a territory/outside of Talossa proper themed tournament. (Too lazy for the diacritics.) If I can somehow make it to a computer tomorrow, I'll try and IM you or something if you are on to discuss all the organizational details. Past Clarks (2)

Oh, and I will resume work on the Past Clark Results soon as I muster up the courage to tackle it again xD Dient (talk) 00:08, 19 July 2012 (CDT)

That's fine. I've had to take a break from that for sanity sakes. I've done up to Clark 5. Clark 6 is requiring some thought as it had something like 19 bills, so screen width space is a problem. Might go with two tables, one above the other. Like you say, need the courage to pick that back up. After the weekend perhaps. Eðo_Grischun (talk) 10:13, 19 July 2012 (CDT)
I know; I did too. It is overwhelming the amount of Clarks we have to input. And format. And (for you) the worst part--voting tables. We'll get to it eventually. I just hope we get the much needed recognition for our work. Dient (talk) 23:30, 19 July 2012 (CDT)

New Section

PM'ed you on Witt; also, could you email me the poker stuff you said you had? I would try and IM you, but things have been pretty hectic lately and I haven't been able to IM for very long. Thanks man! Dient (talk) 16:08, 30 July 2012 (CDT)
