The second cabinet led by Seneschal Lüc da Schir came to power after elections to the 50th Cosa and is currently still in office. Technically it is the third Da Schir cabinet as da Schir became acting Seneschal by default after the resignation of his predecessor, sir Cresti Siervicül,UrN on 1 January {year|2017}. Sir Cresti resigned in the aftermath of the elections, the results of which took very long to be certified, to allow his presumptive succesor to take over. Da Schir had been Distain under Sir Cresti. Da Schir was re-appointed on 31 January by His Majesty, King John I. The others members of the cabinet only then became ministers.
