National Schism

The National Schism is the term popularised by Miestra Schiva for the period where the Kingdom of Talossa and the Talossan Republic were in coexistence, on terms of various levels of mutual suspicion and hostility. This era spanned from the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Talossa on Calondâ Gün (June 1st) 2004 up until Reunision which was completed on April 21st 2012. For part of this time period there was even a "third Talossa", set up by ex-King Robert I.

The term comes from analogy with a similar era in the history of Greece.
