A Writ of Dissolution is an Organic privilege granted to the King. The effect of a Writ of Dissolution is to dissolve the Cosa and to call new elections. The King usually issues such writs during the sixth Clark of any Cosa, however, he may issue them earlier if he desires. The Seneschal, along with Cosa approval, may appeal for such an early dissolution.
Upon dissolution, all two hundred members of the Cosa are dismissed. Members of the Government remain in office until the next government is elected.
