Cpl. Lüc Iánescu-Braneusefiglhëu da Schir MC (Luca Badin, b. 28th December 1997, Pordenone, Italy) is a Talossan citizen and journalist, belonging to the province of Benito.
He gained his Talossanity on March 21st, 2012.

Political Career

While his political career started by being a member of the RUMP, he quickly moved towards the Moderate Radical Party of Talossa, of which he currently is the Party Leader of the province of Benito. He serves as Member of the Cosa and Member of the Benitian Chancellery. He ran for the 44th and 45th Cosa Maestro elections in Benito, but he lost both of them (44th: 2-4 vs Istefan Perþonest; 45th: 5-6 vs Timoþi Asmorescu).

Journalism

He is currently the Chief Executive of the Talossan Observer newscompany, which he founded in the late March 2012.

Militar Career

Lüc da Schir serves as bandsman tubist in the 1st Platoon of the Zouaves of the Royal Bodyguard with the grade of Corporal.

Personal Life

He lives in Cordenons, Italy, with his parents (Ián Braneu Braneusëfiglheu da Schir and Marlaina Lupulardit) and his sister (Erschéveþ da Schir), attending the John Fitzgerald Kennedy High School of Pordenone, Italy, with good marks so far. He plays the trumpet in his hometown's musical band, the Filarmonica of Cordenons.

Previous micronational experiences

Lüc da Schir founded a micronation, Lucania (Lukanien) on 26th September 2010. He initially ruled the nation as King, but after some months da Schir decided to open his micronation to the immigration of 9 new citizens, friends of him, and to his sister, who was the head of a similar micronation, Sabotinia (Saboland), and later decided to turn Lucania into a republic. He has served multiple times as President of the Republic (Mar-Jul 2011, Aug-Nov 2011) and as Prime Minister for the Conservative Party. He stepped down from his role as Prime Minister and Senator (the Senate was the only chamber of the Lucanian parliament) just after starting his Talossan immigration period, and renounced his Lucanian citizenship on March 23rd. The President of the Republic decided to award him with honorary citizenship and the title of Senator for Life, although da Schir has decided not to take advantage of neither of the two awards, but simply to "keep in touch" with his friends and giving some hints from time to time.
