The Kingdom of Talossa has a unique dialect of English whose roots stretch back to, and before, the Declaration of Independence. It has been enriched with many phrases from the Talossan language, but also neologisms.
The founder of the Nation wrote a comprehensive account of Talossan English as it existed up to 2005, From Abbavilla to Zooks, which is available on this Wiki. Below are some links to newer Talossan English words which might confuse the newcomer or Cestoûr:
- Mick (verb)
- National Schism
- Nationette, a term for Talossa's peculiar condition halfway between a sovereign state and an internet community
Other peculiarities of Talossan English speech, and some common utterances on Wittenberg and other Talossan fora include:
- "Ananas" instead of "pineapple"
- Most Nicknames
- The Gordon Rule
